Give These Podcasts a Listen
Innovation Ecosystem
“Innovation starts with open minds. Open minds need content.”
This podcast looks at innovation, change, creativity and all of the things that inspire companies and people to be better. I particularly loved the episode interview with David Pearl and his insights on the importance of story.
Outside In with Charles Trevail
A fascinating look into how businesses thrive and die without a customer-centric model.
“Outside In with Charles Trevail takes a look at the strategies and philosophies of the world’s most customer-centric brands. Leaders from business, media, and academia discuss how consumers are changing, and share best practices on how to create a customer-inspired organization.”
Gimlet Media Family of Podcasts, Primarily “StartUp”
Started as a podcast that followed the start of a business, the transparency in their podcast is inspiring. The first season follows as founders Alex Blumberg and Matthew Lieber start their podcast company, Gimlet Media, with virtually no knowledge on how to start a company. As they describe it — “This is a series about what happens when someone who knows nothing about business starts one. It’s called StartUp.”
On Being with Krista Tippett
“On Being has its origins in a public radio show called Speaking of Faith, which was created by Krista Tippett, piloted in the early 2000s, and launched nationally at American Public Media in 2003. A journalist and former diplomat who had studied theology, Krista saw a black hole in media where intelligent conversation about religion, meaning, and moral imagination might be. Her show evolved into On Being and a pursuit of the ancient and enduring human questions that gave rise to our spiritual traditions and resonate through every institution anew in this century: what does it mean to be human, how do we want to live, and who will we be to each other?”
Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations
“Awaken, discover and connect to the deeper meaning of the world around you with SuperSoul. Hear Oprah’s personal selection of her interviews with thought-leaders, best-selling authors, spiritual luminaries, as well as health and wellness experts. All designed to light you up, guide you through life’s big questions and help bring you one step closer to your best self.”
Sweet Life Entrepreneur with April Beach
“Your go-to podcast for female entrepreneurs designing your business around a life you love: travel, family and fulfilling your purpose. Especially for online coaches, consultants and service providers who want simplified steps, training, and strategies. Join women’s startup coach, lifestyle entrepreneur activator, non-profit founder, and mom of three, April Beach, as she dishes proven tips from over a decade of coaching female entrepreneurs, pioneering online courses and launching businesses that make an impact. Unfiltered honesty from the trenches of parent entrepreneurship to inspire you to get where you’re called to go.”
Fun Therapy
“Fun Therapy with Mike Foster dives into the horribly messy parts of our stories (with a smile). Each episode features a candid “therapy” session with a key leader, influencer or artist. No talking points. No shameless self-promotion. Only beautiful imperfectness on display as we discover tactics to turn our setbacks into superpowers.”
And for you Enneagram fans, here are a few great resources to understand more about how our Enneagram type influences and impacts us and those around us.
Typology with Ian Cron
“Who are we? Why do we act, think and feel the way we do? How can we become our best, most authentic selves? Welcome to Typology, a podcast that explores the mystery of the human personality and how we can use the Enneagram typing system as a tool to become our best, most authentic selves. Hosted by author, speaker and counselor, Ian Morgan Cron, Typology features interviews with thought leaders from every sphere of life, including renowned Enneagram authors and teachers, psychologists, theologians, artists, business leaders, neuroscientists, philosophers, and more. In other words, we’ll be talking with people who are trying to become the best version of themselves in the world.”
Road Back to You
“This weekly podcast, hosted by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile, looks at life through the lens Enneagram, an ancient personality type system that describes how human beings are wired.”
The Enneagram Journey
“Using the wisdom of the Enneagram, and ongoing discussion and conversation, we will grow compassion for ourselves and others, as well as a better understanding for why we do what we do!”
